🇺🇸 Shipping to USA
As of August 22nd 2026, a 50% tariff is in effect on our products entering the United States. 🥲 Our perfume oils are currently the exception and are subject to a 0% tariff!
We know this is a significant additional cost, and with approximately 75% of our customers based in the U.S., we expect this to have an impact on our sales. We’re continuing to monitor the situation closely and will keep you updated as things change!
A quick note about perfume oils: Shopify is currently displaying a 10% tariff at checkout, even though the correct tariff rate is 0%. We’re working with Shopify to have this corrected. If you are charged the 10%, we will refund the difference.

🇪🇺 Shipping to Europe
Due to new EU packaging regulations, we currently ship to: Germany, France, Belgium, Ireland, and the Netherlands, and are awaiting confirmation of our registrations for Italy.
Perfume oils can currently only be shipped to Ireland, Italy and the Netherlands. We’ll update this page as more countries become available again!

A potential 50% tariff on Canadian goods entering the U.S. may take effect August 19. 🥲
If you’d like to order before then, Thursday, August 13 is our last shipping date to get orders out before the potential tariff takes effect! As of Thursday, August 13th 9:30am, all US orders will have tariff added in anticipation of next Wednesday. If tariffs, do not come through, you will be refunded immediately! Thank you for your understanding through this tumultuous time 🌹
Canada & the US are still negotiating, and we’re really hoping a solution is reached so you can continue shopping small without added costs 🤞🏼 We’ll keep you posted when we find out more!

The best news we could hope for — U.S. shipping is officially tariff-free again! 😍
It’s been a whirlwind: first we were approved, then revoked, and now we finally have it back.
This process has been chaotic for so many Canadian small businesses like ours, with constant changes and little clarity.
Through it all, what’s shone the brightest is you — our community 🥹🖤 The outpouring of love and support has been incredible, and we’ll never take it lightly.
We’ll remain tariff-free for the foreseeable future 🦇
Our courier has been working hard to adjust as new info comes in, and while there may be a slight delay (about 5 extra business days), we’re just grateful to be back on track and shipping again. 📦

Until further notice, we can only ship our candles, wax melts, and home décor items to the U.S. (with the 35% duty applied at checkout).
💔 Perfumes are temporarily on hold due to our courier adjusting to all the new tariff rules, and they can’t cross the border right now.
We know how much these scents mean to you, and it breaks our hearts to press pause on them this season. We’re working hard to find a solution and will bring perfumes back the moment couriers allow it.

We have devastating news that affects not only our small business, but our whole community.
On September 2nd, we were officially approved for CUSMA — meaning our candles and perfumes would remain duty free, as they’ve been for the past 5 years. We shared the incredible news with you & saw in a influx of orders to celebrate!
Late last night, on September 4th, I was gutted to find out that our certification was revoked. Despite countless hours spent proving our goods are handmade in Canada, the rules have changed overnight.💔
This means that, until further notice, we now have to collect a 35% duty on all U.S. orders at checkout.
We don’t agree with these tariffs. They punish small artisans like us, and ultimately, our community — many of whom wait all year to bring our Fall collection into their haunted homes. 🥹
What this means...
📦 U.S. orders remain open. We can't shut down shipping.
🔮 A 35% duty will apply at checkout. We know this won’t be possible for everyone, and that’s okay.
🎃 We remain hopeful this won't ruin our small business & that these tariffs disappear as suddenly as they appeared, so our goods can return to being duty free.
We’ve prepared so much stock for this season, and want more than anything for our creations to be in your homes — not stuck at the border.
We’re scared of what this means for the future of GW, but we believe in our community, and in the fact that spooky hearts always find ways to support each other in hard times. 🧡

U.S. Orders remain open: Shipping resumes soon!
Last week, we shared that tariffs wouldn’t affect your orders thanks to CUSMA. Since then, couriers have introduced new requirements at the border starting August 29h 2025. Until new paperwork is finalized, they're treating all shipments (CUSMA compliant or not) as if they carry a 35% duty fee.
Because you should never be charged duties on our products—and because we can’t absorb a fee that high—we’ve made the decision to pause U.S. shipping temporarily.
🎃 Orders are still open! 🎃
We chose to keep our shop open because our seasonal limited-edition launch is happening now, and we know how much you look forward to this release. We don’t want you to miss out!
In the meantime, we’ll continue making and prepping your orders so they’re ready to ship the moment couriers give the all-clear. 🦇
We expect this to be resolved soon and will share updates as quickly as possible!
