Processing Times
Graveyard Wanders is a very small team of 2 people who are always thrilled & grateful when a new order comes in! We're also thrilled to let you know that worldwide shipping is available.
All candles and products are made to order. Please allow 1-5 business days (excluding weekends) for your order to be completely processed and shipped. You will be notified by email upon dispatch of your items. We ship orders every week on Thursday.
Custom fees & Import taxes
We completely understand that customs can be expensive and sometimes feel unnecessary to add onto what we’ve already paid for.
We unfortunately are not in control of customs and duties once a parcel of ours arrives in a different country. Each country has their own laws and regulations regarding outside sales of goods.
As well, for legal and insurance reasons, we are not allowed to change the value of your package.
As much as we wish we could help you on this matter, we do not provide a refund for customs fees, as that is completely a customer’s responsibility.
Graveyard Wanders will not be held liable for custom fees or import taxes.
Missing or Broken Items After Shipment
We triple check all orders during the packing phase but we are human, and these things can happen! If an item is missing from your order or the wrong item was added to your order, please email us within 4 days of receiving your package and/or seeing a delivery notice on your tracking. If we are contacted more than 4 days after your parcel is deemed delivered by tracking, we unfortunately will not be able to offer a replacement for any missing items reported.
To be eligible for a replacement for a package that is missing or includes broken items, your order must include Shipping Protection. Graveyard Wanders will not be held liable for orders that do not include shipping protection.
This shipping protection is automatically added to every cart upon purchase through www.graveyardwanders.com, unless manually removed by the customer. By removing the shipping protection, the customer voids all assistance in a refund or replacement of items.
INTERNATIONAL (outside of USA)
We love being able to offer international shipping to our customers overseas! There are, however, many factors to consider when shopping and shipping internationally.
Shipping quotes at checkout
The shipping quote you see in your cart upon checkout is accurate most of the time, but it does happen that there are discrepancies. We are only aware of the potential discrepancy once your box is prepped, packed, and weighed. In cases where shipping would cost more than you initially paid, we will invoice you and ask you to pay the balance in order for us to send your package out to you.
International shipping costs are all related to weight and size of the parcel, how far the destination country is from us, and the route required to reach the destination.
We offer both tracked and untracked international shipping options which are in different price brackets because we know how expensive it can be to place an order from a business on a different continent.
Shipping time frame estimates
You and I are always quoted with a general idea of a timeframe in which your parcel will be delivered. An international parcel often gets passed onto different couriers as it approaches its destination. Often enough, more time is required, and occasionally, even less! This all depends on how the destination country deals with international shipments, each country’s customs, and how often there are flights to reach the specific destination.
Unfortunately, once our packages are shipped out, they are no longer in our hands. We wish we had more control in these types of situations! The best way to follow your international package’s progress is by choosing a shipping option that comes with a tracking number.
Tracked International Shipping
It is truly in your best interest to choose Tracked shipping upon checkout of your items. Most international packages shipped with tracking arrive at their destination within 5-22 business days, although this is merely just an estimate and we must allow for some flexibility in the delivery date. The progress of your package’s route to your destination will be detailed and help us to trace it down if needed.
Sometimes, customers will experience a halt in their tracking being updated. What often happens with international orders is that the tracking information doesn’t update for a bit as it goes through customs and then updates once again at its final stages before delivery.
Tracked International Shipping - Didn’t arrive?
If your tracked package did not arrive at your doorstep and into your hands around the estimated delivery date, we would ask you to please wait another 10 business days before reaching out to us, keeping all of our previous points in mind. If delivery is still unsuccessful after this extended period, we will conduct our own investigation, and send you a replacement if your parcel is ruled lost or stolen.
Untracked International Shipping
Choosing Small Packet International Air as your shipping choice at checkout is the cheapest international option available, but does not come with a tracking number. This means that we have no way whatsoever to track the progress of your parcel once it is out of our hands. Most international packages shipped without tracking arrive at their destination within 6-12 business days, although this is merely just an estimate and we must allow for some flexibility in the delivery date.
We are happy to offer this as an option to our international customers, because we know an online purchase alone can be costly. However, choosing this Untracked shipping option at checkout automatically voids us of responsibility in terms of a lost or stolen package.
For your own utmost protection, it is absolutely recommended to choose a Tracked shipping option instead.
Untracked International Shipping - Didn’t arrive?
If your untracked package did not arrive at your doorstep and into your hands around the estimated delivery date, we would ask you to please wait another 10 business days before reaching out to us, keeping all of our previous points in mind. At that moment, we will see what we can do.
As stated above, choosing the Untracked shipping option at checkout automatically voids us of responsibility in terms of your lost or stolen package.
